When should I go to Medex?

 

Urgent Care Centers treat injuries and illnesses that cannot wait until the next day. If you feel like your condition is life-threatening such as severe wounds, chest pains or amputations, call 911 immediately and go to the Emergency Room.

Do I need to make an appointment?

 

No appointment necessary! We are an Urgent Care Center that accepts walk-ins at any time.

I am a new patient. What should I bring?

 

Bring your insurance card if you have a health plan, a list of medications you are taking and a form of identification. You can also download and fill out our office forms before your visit to save time. Just click on the link to the right.

I am an employee being sent here. What should I bring?

 

Bring any paperwork required for your visit such as a list of medications, past medical records if needed and a form of identification.

What insurances do you accept?

 

We are credialied with insurance companies and health plans that serve the majority of Americans such as BCBS, United, Cigna and Aetna. For a more complete list, check out our Insurance and Payments page.

What if I do not have insurance?

 

We can still see you!  Urgent Care Centers typically have lower costs than other healthcare providers and are used by uninsured patients.

What are your self-pay rates?

 

Our office visits start at $90. We offer a Prompt Pay Discount of 20% on extra procedures done that are paid on the date of service.

Do you take Medicaid?

 

Unfortunately we are not in network with any Medicaid plans

How can I access my visit notes?

 

At check out, we will give you a copy of you visit notes with any prescription information and after-care instructions you need. You can also access your visit notes, prescription information and after-care instructions from the Patient Portal. Just click on the link to the right.

Do you have flu shots?

 

Yes. We have flu shots all year round and are ready for flu season. Come in and get yours today.

What forms of payments do you accept?

 

We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks. You can also make payments online by accessing the Patient Portal by clicking the link to the right.

 

Can you refill my medications?

 

Urgent Care Centers are meant to provide immediate care to patients. Chronic and routine problems should be dicussed with your Primary Care Physican. On a case by case basis, a provider may refill medications until a patient can be seen by their primary care provider.
